Help Us Focus

Wandering hearts and wandering eyes

Instead, take focus on what God supplies

For in His wisdom, He looks at our hearts

And His strong love does not tear apart

He gathers, He draws, He chooses the best

For each one of us, and then comes the test

To see if we’re truly His and will obey

All His commands, every day

So treasure His presence, rejoice in His love

His blessings here, now, sent from above . . .

Abba Father, may we always see the gifts and blessings You have given us. May our eyes stay focused upon You, Your Word and Your love in our lives. There are temptations out there, in fact, all around, but we desire to focus on You and not what we ‘see’ or start to think. Help us to take captive all thoughts that are not glorifying to You and share true fellowship with those You have chosen for us. In Jesus Name, amen.
