How many of us are guilty of living life in our “own little world”? In reality, many of us do it on a regular basis without even realizing it. We have our own circle of friends, our family, our job, our church . . . yet hardly ever open our eyes to SEE the thousands of other people that live here too!
We drive down the road. Sometimes we even comment about the discourtesy of other drivers; but do we actually SEE them?
We visit the marketplace, perhaps even complain about the long lines of people in front of us . . . but, do we SEE them?
Doctor’s office, School functions, Movie Theaters, Sports events, etc. There are people everywhere . . . but, do we SEE them? . . . or, are we too wrapped up in the reason WE are there, the things WE have to accomplish, OUR time?
“For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men. Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God. Show proper respect to everyone.” 1 Peter 2:15-17a
“Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue, but with actions and in truth.” 1 John 3:18
“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.” Philippians 2:3
