“Things” have a way of taking over . . .
“Things” have a way of growing, multiplying, absorbing my time!
We (my hubby and I) still make it a strong point to start our day with the Lord . . . and, of course, we remain close with our intimate relationship with Him throughout the day . . .
~ B U T ~
The rest of the time we are overwhelmed with “things.”
My goal to blog every day became several times a week . . .
. . . that lead to once a week . . .
. . . leading to a few times a month (more or less) . . .
now . . . hoping for every other month . . .
~ What has happened to my time???? ~
No excuses, only facts, but it still breaks my heart that my own writing has been bumped here to focus on other “things.”
- Books (mine and others)
- Special events
- Flyers, Brochures, Business Cards
- Creating graphics for people
- Helping out at church
- Radio Broadcasts
. . . . just to name a few . . .
Abba Father, the busyness of “things” truly has seemed to capture me, to overwhelm me, but I am keeping my eyes on You! My heart is all Yours, I know You are with me in all things – You are THE ONLY reason I’ve been able to take care of the “things” that You have allowed in my life. I give You all the glory for everything! Thank You, Abba, for taking such good care of me, even through the “things” I face!
…as a side note…I have just about wrapped up several months of “things” that needed taking care of and I am believing for a time of respite and return to blogging on a regular basis.
