We were talking last night at our home Bible Study Group about people within the congregation that are considered (by the pastors) to be “the core”. Those who are dependable, there to learn, to be active in their service and prayers, etc. Immediately the Lord dropped into my spirit
“Well, that IS where the seeds are!”
What do we do with seeds? What are seeds for? PLANTING AND REPRODUCING!!!
Hello!
So . . . as Christians we attend church . . . Bible Studies (and I hope/pray quiet times in the presence of the Lord at home also). The question is . . . what are we doing with that which is being deposited inside our spirit? I’m sure we are growing, praise God; but, are we also taking that seed and scattering it into soil around us? Are we following through with cultivation?
Dear ones, our pastors need us to be the core . . . to help take that which they teach/impart to us and LIVE it; share it and assist others along their own growth time in the Kingdom of God.

I think you are planting seeds with your blog posts.

What an instructive and accurate illustration! Everywhere we go and share our faith we are planting and watering seeds. Or we should be. And each one of us will do this in our own unique way. Let us be mindful that as ambassadors for Jesus we will leave impressions with those we meet.
