Stuck “in-between”?

Published April 17, 2014 by birdieklh

We’ve all been there . . . finding ourselves “stuck” somewhere.

Somewhere in-between where we were and where we want to be. Where we thought we were going and where we are now headed.

Somehow our path changed and we had NO choice in the matter – we found ourselves on a different road altogether and wonder how in the world we got there.

What if your house of worship simply closed its doors . . . no hint that it was coming . . . that happened to me a number of years back. I was on the praise team, went in early to help set things up, and was informed that the Pastor had quit. No warning. No reason.

Perhaps you started out your day just fine. You went into work like any other normal day only to find out later on that your factory had chosen to close it’s doors. Or – you got the pink slip for some bizarre reason – they tell you a reason, but it does NOT make any sense at all (this just happened to my brother, actually, they told him he had been on the phone with the customers too long, that he was being “too nice” – imagine that!)

Maybe you got a call that a routine test you had done at your yearly doctor visit showed something abnormal and now you are faced with choices that will affect your future.

Possibly, your spouse suddenly left your life after many, many years – whether it was from death or divorce – you feel as though a part of your very own soul is gone, ripped out. The pain almost unbearable. Wondering what to do next.

You are STUCK. You don’t know which way to turn, where to look, who to talk to, what to say if you DID have someone to talk to.

Heartache, pain, confusion, worry, so many thoughts start pouring rushing in through your brain, flooding your being. You’re not even sure you can draw your next breath, it feels that bad.

Well . . . there is One who is ALWAYS there . . . Hand
reach up . . .
cry out . . .
look up . . .
grab hold of His Mighty Hand . . .
allow Him to sustain you! I promise you, He will NEVER let you go! You will be safe in His arms. He will bring you the direction you need, the comfort you seek, the wisdom to carry on, the peace to make it through.

This One . . . is the Great I AM . . . The One who gave His ALL so that you can have hope and life eternal!
