I was completely blown out of my seat (figuratively speaking) today at the minister’s meeting I attend when one of the Pastor’s shared that when ever he thinks about the Middle East right now, he thinks of termites.
Yep! That’s what I said. Termites. Those itsy-bitsy little creatures that we can barely see (well, perhaps with magnifying glasses) that can cause huge structures to collapse to the ground like they were made out of sand on a beach!
Although we do not have the visual means to see all the work they are constantly involved with, they ARE working diligently – literally destroying their environment – our environment!
The places they work may still appear the same to us, feel the same to us, and yet, on the inside, things are definitely changing. And, the thing is, we will not even realize it until the damage is done. Until it is beyond the point of any chance whatsoever of putting it back to the way it was!
Alright, this is something I believe most of us can understand. Something that most of us are somewhat familiar with. But, what does this have to do with what’s going on in the Middle East? and Now?
This is what he shared with us.
He said that he has been in contact with numerous minsters, friends, missionaries, teachers, etc. who have been or are in that area now, or go back and forth to that region on a fairly regular basis. The reports from all of them are the same.
“God is moving!
Mighty changes are happening!
Muslims are turning their hearts to Christ!
Jews are opening their eyes to recognize Jesus as Yeshua Messiah,
and turning their lives over to serve Him as their Lord and Savior!”
(I asked his permission to share his interpretation of this here on my blog, he gave me his blessing to do so.)
We don’t “see” it. We don’t “hear” it. But God’s (termites) are at work . . . the structure of things as they are will soon be destroyed . . . as it was written and prophesied so very long ago.
Last night was the first of the 4 blood moons that will be taking place this Jewish calendar year – each one on a very significant Jewish Holy Day. God has a plan and a purpose for His people. His beloved, His chosen.
Let us remember to cover them in prayer. Let us never forget to uphold the nation of Israel before the Lord! This is the Holy week . . . This is the Passover . . . join together . . .
